The latest episode of NBC’s “Megyn Kelly Today” featured a conversation about Doug Collins, a high school football coach in North Carolina.

Kelly opened the episode by asking Collins why he would ever choose to take on a job that could mean the difference between life and death.

Collins said he felt he could never stop thinking about the people he would be coaching someday.

“This is what I’m here to do, to make a difference, to change the lives of people,” Collins told Kelly.

Collins was a high-profile recruit at Wake Forest and a key player on the football team.

The former All-American and Heisman Trophy winner has worked as an assistant coach at North Carolina State, Clemson and Wake Forest.

Collin also has been a member of the U.S. Army All-Star Game, which drew over 1 million people in March.

Kelly asked why he thought people should care about Collins.

“He’s a great example of how you can change the world if you just put your mind to it,” Kelly said.

“He’s been the epitome of what you can do if you put your head down and your heart in it.”
