“I will tell you, I have been told by many people that if I can keep the Lego brand alive and thrive, I think the American people will really appreciate it, which is why I am going to be so passionate about it, because it’s very important for me,” Mr Trump told reporters in the Oval Office on Tuesday.
“We will have a very, very strong and beautiful American brand, so we can do many things, but I will say this: I will keep it,” he added.
“You can count on me to keep it.
I’m not going anywhere.”
The President said he would make sure that “the people that made the greatest things in our history” get credit for them.
“My goal is to make sure we’re always doing better and never getting in a bad spot, so that when I take office I will do things right,” he said.
“So when I’m elected, I will be very proud to say we have made a great start and we are not going backwards.”‘
I want to get my tax returns out in about two weeks’The President has been a staunch supporter of Mr Trump’s campaign during the presidential race.
He campaigned in New Hampshire last year and spoke in Wisconsin on Tuesday, and then went to Ohio on Wednesday to campaign.
“What I’m very happy about is that my supporters have given me so much support,” Mr Donald said in a speech in Ohio on Tuesday night.
“The truth is I want to do everything I can to help get the people that make our great country great again.
I want the people of this country to know that they are a force for good in our society and that we are a strong, united country.””
I want you to know we are going to do what is right, we are doing what is needed and we will do what it takes to get America back on track,” he continued.’
I would be a very good president’Trump’s comments come as he is set to take office on Monday, with an announcement expected to come soon after.
Mr Trump said he was proud of the fact that “he’s a great president”.
“I am so proud of him.
He’s a terrific man.
I think he’s a fantastic man, he’s really a fantastic person,” he told Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo on Tuesday morning.”
And, as far as the tax returns, I would be so, so happy if he got them out,” he also said.
Mr Donald is a huge supporter of Lego, which he has been building since his first day in office.
His first major policy announcement, in December, was to end the use of federal tax breaks for companies that produce products for children.
This week, Mr Donald is expected to announce his own plan to repeal the Affordable Care Act.
“He’s going to repeal Obamacare,” Mr Bartirom said.
“It’s really important.
I’ve never seen anything like it.
He has no chance of winning, and I think it’s going down.”
The plan, which would also repeal the so-called “Obamacare” tax penalties, was unveiled in January.
